I am Mayren\u00ed, a stop motion Animation Supervisor and Character Animator<\/strong> from the US, living in Mexico and working in both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My most recent role was supervising the animation on “Little Nightmares – Broken Promises”<\/strong> (produced at Taller del Chucho in Guadalajara), now selected to appear at Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Before that I animated Bad Bunny’s “Concho”<\/strong> character for his hometown concerts at Acho Studio in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously I worked on the tv show In The Know<\/strong> (streaming on Peacock) and on Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio<\/strong>, both produced by ShadowMachine. I’ve been a part of several short films in Mexico, two of them winners and one nominated for the Ariel Award <\/strong>for Best Animated Short Film<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the side I\u2019ve always been drawn to movement and performing arts, and have been a contemporary dance<\/strong> enthusiast and pianist<\/strong> for many years. I believe these practices have made me a stronger animator through the understanding of body mechanics, rhythm and expression. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
